What is Cerium Oxide?

Cerium oxide (CeO₂) is the most widely used non-magnetic rare earth oxide in industrial manufacturing. Typical Applications

Cerium oxide is a critical input across a broad range of industrial processes:

Glass & Optical Polishing — CeO₂ is the industry-standard abrasive for flat glass, optical lenses, LCD panels, and precision optics. Its hardness and chemical reactivity deliver a superior surface finish versus alternative abrasives.
